2 sticks (1 cup) butter or margarine
3/4 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Bakto Ground Vanilla Beans (or 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract)
1 tsp Salt
2 1/4 Cups of All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
~ Preheat the oven to 350F and line sheet pans with silpats.
~ Cream the butter and sugars until fluffy.
~ Add in the eggs one at a time.
~ Add in the vanilla.
~ Mix together the dry ingredients and add to batter.
~ Add in the chocolate chips and mix on low speed or by hand until fully incorporated.
~ Place rounded tablespoons on the silpats 12 on a tray.
~ Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
~ Let stand for three minutes then remove to cooling rack.
~ Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
